Five
hundred years ago, when the Portuguese arrived here for the first
time, a huge forest extended along the Brazilian Coast. 12% of the country was covered
by this wonderful forest. Nowadays, there is only 4.4% left in protected
areas and here, in the Rainforest Camp you will still find a wild
forest with unforgettable sites.
We have
been making an effort to preserve this forest so that we can all
have the benefits of this place. Help us to preserve the nature
because with common sense and wisdom we will have the chance to
preserve something of its ancient beauty.
Preserving
the Atlantic Rainforest, we will guarantee the survival of
many animals that are threatened to extinction.
