At Eco Lodge Salve Floresta we offer several hikes of varying degrees of difficulty through a large area of the Atlantic Forest as an activity that helps develop environmental awareness while also showing the importance and need for environmental protection. From hikes with a difficulty level of up to 4 hours to easy hikes for the whole family, suitable for children. On these hikes, visitors will have a unique experience discovering the flora and fauna of our forest, with the opportunity to swim and enjoy crystal-clear waterfalls. The goal of the hikes is always to end with a bath in these waterfalls. Our guides are knowledgeable about the local species of flora and fauna and can provide information on the importance of each part of this ecosystem.
We define ourselves not as a natural park where people simply go for a walk, but rather as a way to encourage visitors to appreciate nature in its natural habitat with explanations. Here at Ecolodge Salve Floresta, we define our philosophy as follows: to preserve and conserve the rainforest, offering a space where people can experience the true essence of nature and learn about the importance of its conservation. We believe that by encouraging sustainable ecotourism, people from near and far could contribute economically by helping to conserve this unique natural habitat, while learning how to live in harmony with nature in their daily lives.
